Santa Fe North Hills Neighborhood
North of the Santa Fe Plaza, the terrain rises into the Sange de Cristo foothills, offering some great views from the homes there. The road is a gateway to the Santa Fe Ski Basin, lots of hiking trails, and the renown Ten Thousand Waves Spa.
The North Hills rise from Paseo de Peralta and are bordered by the Taos Hwy on the west, the Santa Fe River on the east, and Tesuque on the north. A great diversity of condos and rental homes can be found in this area, as home prices range from $200,000 up to $2,000,000 and beyond.. As the elevation increases, so do the prices!
If you want a stunning view, definitely check out rentals in this neighborhood! You will, of course, need a car as this area is not within walking distance to Santa Fe. Depending on distance, you can easily drive to downtown Santa Fe in 7-10 minutes. You get bigger homes here for the buck; they are generally not as expensive to rent as those on the Eastside.
