Santa Fe's Historic Guadalupe NeighborhoodThe historic Guadalupe neighborhood is located across the Santa Fe River from the plaza area. Guadalupe street makes up the eastern border of this rapidly changing neighborhood and is a popular enclave of galleries, restaurants, and shops. This area has recently been bolstered by the opening of the Railyard development, a 50-acre commercial, entertainment, and residential district that centers on the old Santa Fe rail lines. The new Rail Runner service runs between Santa Fe and Alburquerque. The Railyard is the new home of the wonderful Santa Fe Farmers Market as well as a 13-acre park, an REI store, cafes, galleries, and lots of other activities. Vacation rentals can be found in this area, including some condos and townhomes. Be aware that the neighborhood is mixed residential and commercial, so expect some noise and traffic. Prices will be less expensive that the Eastside Neighborhood. Other Santa Fe Neighborhoods General Map of Santa Fe |
