Artists Inspired
Casa de Alma is proud to display numerous pieces of original art by local (New Mexico) and nationally known artists. We include them here, in case you would like to learn more about the artists or contact them.

We are very pleased to display seven of Carol’s beautiful water colors in our home. Carol Ann (formerly Carol Shade Moore) is best known for her colorful interpretations of the places she loves to visit: Mexico, Europe, and the American Southwest. Carol has exhibited in Washington, Idaho, New Mexico and Arizona. She maintains studios in Santa Fe and in Tucson, where she paints and conducts workshops for aspiring artists.
Carol has studied with watercolor masters Frank Webb, Alvaro Castagnet, Diane Maxey, Catherine Gill, Evelyne Boren, Jean Grastorf, Judi Betts, Betsy Dillard Stroud, and Gerald Brommer. Visit Carol Ann's website to view her current work.

Sandy Voss
Sandy has been rag weaving rugs for thirty years and her creations can be found in homes in Tokyo, Africa, Germany, as well as in most of the 50 states. Her rugs present abstract, organic patterns, suggesting waves and winding paths. Occasionally her designs are representational or figurative. Her colors hit the richest notes in a natural spectrum. Voss uses contemporary materials, including fabric, textiles, and high-end loom factory waste, (i.e., Pendleton selvage-edge strips, upholstery-industry cast-offs).
We feature one of Sandy’s rugs at the end of the hallway on the wall. You can see others at Marigold Arts, 424 Canyon Road, Santa Fe.

Her artwork has been published in magazines and on CD covers and is represented in a number of galleries in the southwest. You can see her work at Marigold Arts, 424 Canyon Road, Santa Fe
